Being a proper ‘kaaskop’ - Dutch for ‘cheesehead’, you would probably wonder why I decided to start a meal kit delivery service offering only plant-based recipes. The reason is this: I’m a big lover of food - any kind of food. And especially if it’s enjoyed in the company of others. You can wake me up for some jamón Iberico and I can have a cheese platter every day, but I do think being more aware of what you consume - at least a few days a week - is very important. With consuming meaning the broader term, not just the food you put in your body, but being aware of where it comes from, how it is produced, packed and delivered. My goal with Bolsita Verde is not to turn everyone in Mallorca into vegans, but for everyone to change their behaviour towards their day-to-day food consumption. Together we can complete the circle and drive the local economy, preserve our beautiful island and receive all the fuel needed for an energetic and positive life.

I’m Emiliano Tissera, born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have been passionate about the art of cooking from a very young age and obtained a degree in Gastronomy since. Both my grandmothers, one with French and the other one with Italian roots, taught me the importance of good food and to prepare it with dedication and love. As a young man, I had the great opportunity to work alongside nutritionists and doctors on healthy food solutions at the renowned Favaloro Foundation University Hospital founded by my family. Ever since, cooking has become an integral part of my life. While traveling around the world, I have been able to learn about many different cuisines, like the vegetarian-, Ayurvedic- and holistic cuisine. I am very happy to be part of a meal kit delivery service that promotes the use of local products, encourages a balanced and healthy diet and is committed to take care of the environment.
